We were commissioned to prepare a Flood Risk Assessment and Drainage Management Strategy for the above site for a planning application for 27 residential dwellings. During the initial investigation phase of works it became clear that there were existing Surface Water flood risk issues to both the proposed development area and existing nearby dwellings. Extensive discussions were required with both South Ribble Borough Council and Lancashire Borough Council to resolve the matter but ultimately the FRA was approved by the Environment Agency.
