Luxury residential development for 31 units/apartment mix located at the former Stretton Dairy located just outside Chester.

This development has been developed using wholly sustainable principles for both foul and surface water.

Foul water was discharged to ground via a drainage field which received treated water from the new foul water treatment plant and associated pumping station.

Surface water conveyed through a storm water balancing pond to watercourse. The pond catered for the 1:100yr plus 30% climate change event whilst providing a ‘wet’ zone for the lower annual flows to encourage wildlife habitat and promote plant growth.

Betts Associates worked with Redrow and The Environment Agency in order to secure the required permits and licenses for the foul water discharge.
